Special:
- As social as Champ is and despises being alone for too long, he doesn’t mind a little solitude once in a while( I mean, being a single child, it’s kinda a given). He usually spends it working out in the local YMCA or reading some good ole’ Daring Dos when he should be using it to study and get some homework done. It’s just that school and Champ don’t seem to get along well, and even though Champ isn’t exactly flunking, he rarely makes above a B-. But since he’s signed up for practically every sport, and does the occasional assignment for extra credit, he’s not too worried.
- Champ is a tough guy when it comes to many things, but seeing blood just isn’t his strong suit. At all. The school nurse would know since she’s the one cleaning up his vomit all the time. For Champ, this can be embarrassing in public, but amongst his friends, they know all about it and try their best to make sure Champ doesn’t encounter any ( otherwise, they’re left cleaning up). oddly enough, it’s usually only the sight of other pony’s blood that makes him sick. With his own, he has no problem cleaning up after a cut or gashing wound. Still, he’s hoping he’ll grow out of it…someday.
- Another problem that Champ has is his issues with flight. Any time that he tries flying at high speed and heights, not to mention any sort of aerial maneuver, he feels really sick, ranging from slight nausea to passing out (which did happen once). Not too many ponies poked fun at him for it, but it didn’t make it any less frustrating for him. He really did want to fly just like his mom. When Champ found he couldn’t make a career as a wonderbolt, he pursued sports in the hopes that he might overcome his flying disability. To this day he still has the same problems (with maybe just a bit more confidence in flying), but he seems to be pretty doing pretty successfully as an athlete.
- The time that Tank passed on to turtle paradise was one of the most heartbreaking events the family went through. Out of all three, Rainbow cried the most. Soarin tried to be as supportive as he could, but after about 48 hours of non-stop crying from both from mother and son, he decided it was time to take a family trip to the pet store. While they were there, Champ was captivated by a small, slow-moving Chameleon Gecko. He named her Paprika but calls her Pappy for short. Growing up together, they bonded over playing hide and seek, listening to rock music as champ worked out, and seeing how many times Pappy could lick Soarin’s ear before he’d wake up.
- Memes. Memes everywhere. If there’s a new meme, you can bet Champ will be the first to know it and will use it at every possible opportunity. Since he has practically every meme memorized by heart, a lot of the ones he will bring up have long since died and need to stay dead Champ! Half of the memes you know, he’s probably come up with. But hey, whatever ̶g̶e̶t̶s̶ ̶p̶o̶n̶y̶’̶s̶ ̶a̶t̶t̶e̶n̶t̶i̶o̶n̶ gets ponies laughing! You know that guy in the dark alley with a trench coat that he slowly opens, revealing a bunch of homemade, printed pictures as he coaxingly whispers “hey kid, wanna buy some memes?” That’s Champ.
