I don’t think that would work quite as well for the EqG characters, though; the The Movie characters were in and out, but Sunset in particular seems like she’s been a little too… important to Princess Twilight for such a casual As You Know, Bob mention.

They don’t have to bring Sunset Shimmer into the show. They could just mention her name like they did for Tempest Shadow.

Well,this brigs a new perspective to things.Since EG and FiM are in the same multiverse,then that does explain the comics where characters go to different universes.Which means either  
A)The Comics are apart of a different continuity then the show  
B)The comics take place in different universes  
C)The comics are a different twist  
D)Everything that has to do with MLP(even the earlier Generations and Fanfics and fan art and all that)are apart of the same multiverse.
