No, id say that people are pretty spot on here. The April version seems to be nicer. the may version has rounded off the ears for some reason, over-blended the wings, removed many details from her pendent and surrounding area, maybe too much blending on the hair, less detailed and less pleasing design for all earrings.
Sometimes more leads to less, the April version was nicer and the May feels like a step backwards.
May looks more tuned for animation.
