So, the way I saw it, she was doing the socially obligated “there-there” pat while looking at Discord to say “get this blubbering loser away from me”.

With some skeletal figures, the rule is that they are animated by magic. The inside of her chest and her head behind her eyes is comprised of this magic, it’s just that you can see it in those places.

The Equestria Girls, he’s a dog. In the underwater world, he’s a puffer fish. Seems fitting that in the Mageverse, he would be a more dragon-like creature than he already is. I have been drawing him as a small quadruped lizard perched on Twiliight’s shoulder since the very beginning of My Little Mages, I wouldn’t want to ret-con that. This depiction of him is a little more grown up.
