@Starly, as a human society, we always react strongly to the negative. Hence, the news of scandals, tabloids, realty television, talk shows like Maury, always cater to the negative. Whenever there something nice or positive posted, while it may get a flux of upvotes or such, it will never get reactionary or rage comments like posts like these, art from CL, the nazi Crispy or that other idiot.

The reality is anthropomorphising is just the process of making them more human, however in the case of furries it’s giving them sexualised human bodies the bodies of the mlp cast are still equine.
