Based on OP’s previous comments about G5, I kinda doubt he’s joking.
I just make content. How people react or take it is up to them. I’ll post my thoughts on some things, but I rarely make anything, whether art or memes, to emote.
There’s people who think this is funny. Some are sad. Others get angry. It sparks discussion and consideration. It gets others thinking philosophically. At least in Facebook. I don’t have any right to tell people how to feel, I can only do my best to emulate a concept as creatively as I can, and hope I touch someone, somewhere, beyond my direct, physical reach.

That’s true, I mean, the new episodes are fine by me, but I think that the show has lost the essence it once had when season 6 started
If anything, I’d rather go ahead and consider season 5’s finale to be the end of the show. It hasn’t been fun for me, since then, to follow it, and my favorite character isn’t getting satisfactory attention anymore. It’s not such a sad idea, the show ending, when it keeps changing and abandoning characters in favor of new ones to keep things fresh. The good times are still there, and will be easier to appreciate even more when I don’t have to worry about the future.

nobody believes that the characters get “erased”, of course it already exists and wont be taken just because something new comes along, fans just gotta be mature enough about it to not cry over their show coming to an end because there’s something new coming
it’s exactly the idea of a new gen erasing the old one that’s the joke here and you ruin it by taking this serious
oh my fucking god this thanos meme bullshit makes me wish the movie never happened.
and the only emotions this elicits is being just over people’s pessimistic garbage when it comes to the potential generation 5. guess what? its not erasing or killing or retconning anyone cause ITS ANOTHER FACKING SHOW. that is the long and short of it. it be like pretending every character that has ever existed in a show now canceled just dropped dead after the credits. its just done to emotionally hurt people who are invested in the show and it just keeps repeating and repeating at nausea.
What more is there to say? The show shall end one day but that is because nothing lasts forever, and something new iwll come of it. Will gen 5 be anywhere near as good as gen 4? We don’t know yet. Maybe it will be better, maybe it will be legitimately bad, but what it is is what it is. It will not in any way make friendship is magic invalid though. Ever.
