The mantarok symbol was such a useful element in this game… “Shield”, “Enchant Item”, “Dispel Magic”, “Damage Field”, “Bind Creature” and “Magic Attack” all become elementally balanced… “Reveal Invisible” turns you invisible.. “Recover” and “Magic Pool” both heal all 3 meters at once… Boy how I could breeze through various sections of the game, with that rune…

Mantorok-aligned shield spell. Seriously invaluable in that final level.
 
Love that game. Just completed it properly after all these years (by which I mean beat it with all three alignments on the same save file for the bonus ending).

@HJSDGCE. Basically it turns whoever touches it into a leich, a skeleton like servant with magic powers, who becomes it’s pawn and does it’s bidding.  
Not good stuff basically.
