Okay, I’m going to point out something here that the animators have done that’s REALLY important to lore:  
“Seaponies” are not a separate race in G4.
 
Look carefully at each of the seaponies here–they all retain defining original racial characteristics:  
  • Apple Bloom is a standard issue seapony (because Earth ponies are the standard).  
  • Scootaloo is a seapony with medial fins (representing her pegasus wings).  
  • Sweetie Belle is a seapony with a horn (‘cuz she’s a unicorn).  
  • Twilight Sparkle is a seapony with medial fins and a horn (‘cuz she’s an Alicorn).  
  • Terremar is a seapony with medial fins and hoof-fins (because hippogriffs have claws instead of forehooves).
     
    Thus, there is not true “seapony” race, just different ponies/hippogriffs changed by magic.

Steven Universe had CN interns or something to blame.Just briefing their Internet team is enough to fix the leaks  
DHX/Hasbro have [REDACTED IMAGEBOARD NAME] to blame for the leaks (so good luck reasoning with those people,because they didnt stop at simply episode,they also leaked the then unreleased feature film) AND in addition to that factor that could have easily be circumvented VERY EARLY during the show run, their own incompetence because they released some episode in advance at some point IIRC
