If you need my input there’s been weirder claimants in history. If pone was any different then Blueblood might as well be King Henry Some-Number-Kill-Wives. He only became king through more or less forging a closer claim to the throne through some dead aunt or something, as the story goes. We just don’t bat an eye because he won in the end.

I definitely want to see him call out Rarity, like have the Mane Six need to work with him for some kind of diplomatic thing and she remarks on how how much of a jerk he was, only for him to reply along the lines of “Says the lady who wouldn’t have paid me a second glance if I wasn’t a prince” or something to that effect XD
 
Also, off-topic, if we’re to believe he’s Celestia’s nephew 52 times removed, the average generation is around 25.5 years, and Luna is Celestia’s only known sibling, that means it’s possible Luna had a child around 1,326 years ago :D

Yeah he was a douche, but like in his defense we only ever saw him once, and only interacting with someone who wasn’t exactly being a decent person herself at the time, and they’ve given much worse people second chances. I think he deserves a fair shake at a redemption episode :P
