Starlight bitchslapping that book out of Twilight’s magic is one of my favorite moments in the entire show. It just felt like a pretty significant sign of her growth as well as how close she’s gotten to Twilight.

I mean, she started out as a cult leader that became a villain with a grudge against Twilight.

Then, she was a pony who didn’t have the slightest idea about how to friendship.

Now, she’s at that top-tier friend level where she’s giving Twilight the real-talk she needs to hear so she can kick Neighsay’s stupid rules out of her school.
