Could be both indeed.
Could be both, although I’ve always had clothing-related interests our tastes seem to be in common a lot
@Little Ribbon
My influence must be spreading, or you’re females. :P
I think I’d rather she left me very detailed instructions on how to wear the three piece skirtsuit, including hair and makeup, with a note saying she’d be checking to make sure I’d done it right. Then she’d tighten the tie up more, boop my nose, and call me a silly filly.
I’d probably melt
Nice to see how much effort you do put into making the art, it clearly shows in the quality of your art.
I’m not great at explaining how I organize my art, but I’ll try.
I don’t usually put lineart and coloring of a clothing piece into a specialized group. Instead I position all of my lineart, character and clothing, above the coloring work. Unless the picture was planned right off the bat to have multiple variants (to which point I rely on a nude base lineart overlaid by linearts of clothing, all given Multiply blending so that it cooperates with the color layers below), I tend to compact the lineart into a smaller number of layers to streamline the drawing process. In this case the only representation of her legs and hips were through the pantyhose layer; so to add a pantyhose-less version of her legs, I had to duplicate the pantyhose layer and adapt it to remove pantyhose seems and skin tension around the waist band, as well as adjusting layers of her upper torso and the original pantyhose so that they’re easier to interchange. Then the outlines of the newly adjusted lineart had to be colored properly so that they’ll connect seemlessly with each other. The panty’s outlines also needed to have recolors to fit the skintone of the pantyhose-less variant, resulting in an additional layer.
While her bare legs were colored, they were not properly shaded because it was largely covered over by the opaqued pantyhose layer and thus wasn’t originally necessary; her waist was also originally shaded to account for the pantyhose waistband. So not only was extra work needed to improve the shading on her legs, but an overlay had to be snugged into an odd spot in the skin coloring layer group to cover up the shading around the waist. Likewise, as the bra would overlap the body base, both the lineart and coloring had to be, confusingly, grouped in the middle of layers normally reserved for lineart in order to effectively cover up parts of her body without compromising the rest of the lineart.
The overall work resulted in the additional need to toggle 5 layer groups: 3 for the pantyhose-less legs, and 2 for the pantyhosed legs, plus a sixth group for the bra (IIRC).
Basically, it’s not as easy as it looks for me to readapt a single-track image to support multiple variants. I’m just not very efficient at this.

you’re too good for us, king k
Of course you aren’t obliged. You aren’t even obliged to draw in the first place. – I’m happy with the work you do and share. But it also doesn’t mean I like all art either. – Basically, do whatever you want.
However; as the pantyhose is a transparent layer above the drawing, I assume. So making it separate from the start should make a really easy alternative version with very little work. – This isn’t the same for other clothes completely obscuring what’s underneath.
I prefer the edit version, but I could live without it if displeased Kakapo.
I love the pantyhose. Honestly feel bad for Kakapo and annoyed at the people complaining about the art not being their way.
Keep in mind that I’m not obliged to cater to as many people as possible, more so if it’s free art. 3 hours was spent modifying the mess of layers of this picture just so there is support for a pantyhose-less version, plus the bra. 3 hours that could had been spent on another picture or two in the art backlog.
Honestly, I’m not pleased to take time away for this. I’m barely getting art done as it is.

Could be. I like the pantyhose though
Maybe he’ll do alts later?
@Liggliluff
Kinda surprised multiple versions haven’t been posted, Kakapo often does a few
Yeah. I agree. It’s up to the artist in the end, though.
Honestly, pantyhose versus no pantyhose comes down to preference. Some of us like them, some don’t.
For the record, I favor both pantyhose and stockings with a garter belt.
I’m all for option. With and without pantyhose. With and without clothes. I understand it being more work, but you’ll also gather a wider audience.
Hey, I agree with you on both points! Pantyhose are sexy, especially paired with a business outfit being taken off.
@Liggliluff
@Amateur-draw
I feel alone now loving pantyhose and loving pantyhose through panties. :< (Not upset, so don’t worry).
Kakapo could make a pantyhose-free edit, but honestly, Twi’s outfit really doesn’t look right without pantyhose.
