Everyone hates school :/

Twilight: seriously? Working at a school in ponyville is too much for your job schedules to handle but leaving Ponyville for possibly days at any given time to do friendship quests isn’t?

We don’t officially know how many hours are in the day, even if a 12 numbered clock exists they could have a third acronym instead of just AM and PM

Twilight: “Respectfully, I am your princess and your best friend. If you all think I haven’t been keeping track of the taxes you should be paying me, you clearly don’t understand what being a princess is like! Do any of you appreciate the amount of cover I’ve had to run for the five of you to even have the lives you have? Ponyville runs the way it does because of me! Not one of you could even wrap up winter on time before I showed up!”

Also, I thought Rainbow Dash quit her job as a weather pony after she blew up the Weather Factory in Tanks for the Memories (Which BTW I’m still wondering why she hasn’t been put in jail for it after so long), joined the Wonderbolts in Newbie Dash (Wonderbolts don’t do weather control), and she was mind-controlled by Starlight into bringing a rain cloud into Twilight’s castle in Every Little Thing She Does.
 
Then again, I haven’t watched the show in god knows how long so I could be wrong. _{Heh, that rhymed :P}

I’m surprised how many didn’t.

They’re like the Gen 1 Power Rangers, they have infinite time for clubs and volunteer work, outside of regular schoolwork and moonlighting as heroes. XD

We also saw Rumble brother taking times to help the CMC with their Cutie Mark Camps.If anything,the ponies are a really versatile and flexible bunch when it comes to help people.Also,since it’s an EEA-unsanctioned school,i dont think they have to restrain themselves with ordinary schedule.Maybe at the beginning when Twilight opened the school but not anymore

Honestly,that’s what i thought to : i knew a psychiatrist that balanced his work as a well,psychiatrist and still find time to give lectures at the university

Also, maybe the Mane 6’s classes aren’t every day? I know at my high school, for Driver’s Ed it was pretty much a study hall unless it was your group’s day to go out driving, and later the school switched to an A/B block scheduling where the classes were twice as long, but you only did four each day.
 
Alternatively, since it appears that the School of Friendship is supposed to be like a boarding school or college, it’s entirely possible that the school has a scheduling system similar to that. I know from my brief experience with college that classes aren’t every day for the students and from what I’ve seen of schedules for boarding schools online, it’s similar though students have classes every day while they don’t have the same classes every day.
 
So it’s entirely possible that the Mane 6 have their classes that they teach scheduled around their jobs.

Why don’t you all give the students internships in your businesses? That way, you could teach AND work at the same time!

To be fair:
 
Rainbow does not practice as often as people think. She had only 73 sessions by the end of season 7 after two seasons. She had plenty of free time between that. And I’m not sure she manages weather like that anymore either.
 
Rarity incorporated her job into teaching and the other two work automously for the most part.
 
Pinkie always has free time and she rarely works the counter.
 
Fluttershy’s sanctuary is actually meant to lessen her workload by turning it into self sufficiency with only some upkeep on her part.
 
AJ has two siblings who work there too and Big Mac is the one who seems to do the most work.

I’m honestly surprised how many thought these realties would matter.

Well girls, looks like you’re gonna be doing a lot of field trips. (The classes seem like they might be combining their work with teaching anyway.)

…I totally forgot that their schedules would conflict with the school…
