You know who we know much less about than Bright Mac and Pear Butter even when they were introduced 5 and 6 seasons earlier ? Night Light, Twilight Velvet, Hondo Flanks & Cookie Crumbles
 
Weird, you don’t complain about how they will be gone too when, for example, it took 5 seasons to hear the first two even talk, do you ?

I was looking through the mane six’s parents, and I noticed something. The parents on the top row here were introduced in Seasons 1 and 2, and you can see elements in their designs that their children inherited, but their children also have some traits that are unique to them and not traceable to their parents. (We’re ignoring Pinkie’s design, besides, she looked just like her sisters who are obviously their parents children before her hair was fluffed up by the sonic rainboom)
 
The parents on the bottom row were introduced in Seasons 6 and 7, and every detail from of their children’s design is traceable to them. I like their designs, but I think the show staff went over board with them in making sure they looked like they were the parents of the respective members of the mane six. The only detail I can see is Apple Bloom’s eye color didn’t come from her parents, and probably come from Granny Smith instead.

Just got to know them, and now they will all be gone with Applejack. We get a new Aj without her real family. This sucks. :(
