I was talking about Starlight, Sunset had redeeming qualities and obvious morals, Starlight however combined real world torture methods that can and have driven trained soldier insane and left them scared for decades, with an added magical element, Sunset’s issue is that she hasn’t been allowed to be herself, they haven’t let her have her old oomf from before the redemption which made sense in Rainbow rocks, but by now people want her to become the more assertive leader type with Sci Twi as her lancer,
@Alexlayer
She could have been the start of a new golden age, a villain to rival the Lich and Bil Cipher, but they threw it all away,
that’s why I like evil Sunset better; unfortunately, DHX didn’t feel like putting ANY effort into her – that’s why they made her a high school cliché in EqG 1 and “reformed” her at the end.
@Thanotos Omega
“Amazing. Every word you just said was wrong.”
I won’t comment on Sunset’s character, but I will say for Starlight, just because you don’t like her doesn’t mean she’s a bad character and whatever correlation between the two in how you think you see is likely superficial.

No it doesn’t, Sunset was an organic achievement who has a very strong fanbase, Starlight is a hollow attempt to ape her success,
