I think Twilight thinks of Spike more as a son and Spike of Twilight more as a sister. That’s at least what I gathered from their relationship in earlier seasons where they acted like this.

This would mean also that Spike is Shining Armor brother and cousin of Cadence.
This would make SA and Cadence kissing cousins from Spike perspective.

Well, she hatched him and took care of him and acted motherly to him in the past but he probably thinks of her more as a sister so they are kind of both.
