Too dang adorable.
When that many people tell you to cool down, it’s kind of a good idea to take that advice. It’s good that you apologized and are taking that advice now. Don’t hate yourself over what you did. It was a mistake and you admitted to it. Now just learn from your mistake, try not to do it again, and move on.
Yes, that is me. You want the truth here it is: I don’t know why I rant into this I’ve been into fandom since 2012 and never cared about shipping. But just recently watched Silfoe’s work wich I repeat is beatiful, too beautiful I guess. I got so jealleous, angry and salty several ships so I began trolling for the first time in my life, the Mod told me to cool down, bronies told me to cool down and the artist told me to cool down too. But I keep feeling the urge to useless petty commenting but when I finished I felt too ashamed and even more sad. I hate myself a little bit more now. I once said that I would love to have a princesss to myself but now I think that even if they were real what kind of chance could have a hater like me, I know the answer: zero. I am very sorry again. I will edit my dumb comments right now…
Them making fanfics in the comments wasn’t the thing that I had a problem with. It kind of had more to do with this person complaining about ships on multiple Silfoe pictures. They’ve complained about ships on other pictures as well too.
Get out. Let them take it as serious as they want to. There is nothing in the rules against making fanfics in the comments. I don’t like these ships anymore then you do. It doesn’t mean I have the right to call their ship cracked or not.

The other BP is kind of living in a little bubble it seems. Twilight did have romantic feelings for Flash. They didn’t last long but she had them. Can’t say the same for her and Luna (even though I think TwiLuna is rather cute).
Also happens with especially magically powerful pegasi.
…Cadence was not fun to be around shortly after her ascendance. Unless you like being electrocuted.
Well, I’m speaking more about their personalities.
They can both relate to wearing a mask and playing a role.
Rarity constantly tries to portray herself as a high-class elite when she’s really a backwater mare.
Celestia also has to show herself in the best light to set an example for “her little ponies’, while we’ve seen glimpses of her true personality when she’s with friends and family.
Also, I’m pretty sure Celestia was the bearer of Generosity before, so that gives them something in common
I might be mistaken as I saw the episode with the sisters wielfing the Elements quite a long time ago…
I admit they haven’t really had the best of interactions in canon and I don’t normally ship them, but for some reason…
Silfoe just makes it work, you know?
@Background Pony #A5B1
In Sketchbook they actually do have a reason to love each other.

It’s just some shipping fun. None of these ships make sense or have proper motivation. Twi and Luna love each other “just cuz”.
I have read histories very well done on Twiluna (including the royal sketchbook) and is quite romantic too you know the moon and the stars together in the sky but I guess the rush and limitations of making the history comic style are making hard to see an ideal relation between Rarity and the princess. I mean the art makes you feel the moment but it needs a little more background. Rarilestia is totally reasonable uhmmm…they both share the same coat color and… Rarity kissed Celestia’s shoes one time sooo yeah it’s really hard to understand the character’s motivations on this one.
Here’s another one for that statement.
Yes, they are reasonable. More than Twilestia or Flashlight, certainly.
Let’s not get too ridiculous, :p.
Oh, I don’t mean the original, unedited script.
I mean the general outline which spanned S1 and S2 and which went out of the window in S3.
I love Twilicorn, but I can admit that it was done WAY too soon.
What came after is just a constant rehash of S1 and S2 lessons with a different set of circumstances.
THen came Magical Communist Glimmer, T-rex and stuff like that.
And it went downwards from there, with the birth of
the antichristFlurry.They weren’t even taking it seriously with the proportions and made an instant Mary Sue.
Ah, sorry for going off rails, we were talking about ships…
Fair enough. I’ve seen the term used either way. I honestly alternate between both definitions myself, so I admit that I can be fickle with the term at times.
My friends and I also usually use the term when people split up canon couples for other ships too. For example, based on your definition Shining Armor/Queen Chrysalis is not a crackship because the two have met (and she has legitimately put the moves on him since she was disguising herself as his then fiance). But to split up a happily married couple so one of the characters can be with someone who treated him, his sister, and the rest of his friends and family as complete garbage, then it definitely doesn’t feel like a “normal” ship to me.

Apology accepted. I’m sorry that I got a bit sassy with you earlier.
Can’t say I agree with you in regards to the Lauren thing, especially considering that despite being the mind of the show, she still had to change from her original concepts. Celestia’s not a queen, Cadance isn’t a unicorn, Ponyville isn’t called Fillydelphia, the cast is named and have their designs based off of G3 ponies as opposted to G1 ponies, etc. Not to mention while Lauren may have been the creator, she’s not the only thing that made this show great and what it is. Shows like this are a huge collaborative process and many people are responsible for putting the pieces together so to speak.
Im so confused
Sorry for that assumption.
I also think Momlestia is the best role for Celestia.
@Background Pony #B696
Yeah, that definition of crack pairing is the more common one, hence my immediate denial.
@mjangelvortex
As for the staff, I don’t give a damn what they want, they lost all semblance of cohesion when the mind behind the story left. Without Lauren anything past S2 is technically fanon. And most of the basis for TwiLuna lies in those two first seasons. Rarilestia, not so much.
@mjangelvortex
I call it a crack ship because a lot of ships for this show are. If I’m not mistaken, some of the staff didn’t want any of the main characters to be heavily involved in romances or the show to get too focused on romance.
I also don’t use the term crackship to insult either because I have a few crackships that I like myself. So I honestly meant no offense to you when I used the term.
And I actually don’t ship Twilestia. In fact, I actually kind of dislike it since I prefer seeing Celestia as more of a motherly figure towards Twilight instead of a lover. So nice assumption (and condescending tone) on your end there.
Edited
I wish people would stop calling normal ships crackships. Both TwiLuna and Rarilestia are reasonable and possible.
Is it because it breaks up your beloved Twilestia?
Edited
Yes, I am pathetic.
