True, but this one also has interesting enough spin-off stories and some lore in it, as well as main characters with their additional backstory quests/episodes yuri subtext intensifies
The official releases of the episodes / movies have been out of print for years and are ridiculously expensive. I keep hoping for a re-release but I’m not holding my breath.
Could I get a good price for my copy of rebellion if it has a slightly/moderately damaged case? I could probably just replace the case but the cover picture seems slightly damaged as well.

Well, that’s true for films and series, but not the whole franchise. There are some spin-off mangas, the last one I’ve seen was Tart Magica last released in Nov 2017 and they’ve just released spin-off mobile game last year.
Hope will last until turned into despair…
Have to disagree. Glorifying death is one of wrong things of which Homuhomu did none.
The Madoka franchise seems to be pretty dead outside of Japan with no sign of it coming back any time soon. And even then it’s all been alternate universe stuff… the fourth movie to wrap up the series will come out at roughly the same time as Half Life 3.

What Homura did in Rebellion was wrong but at the same time I can understand why she did it. I just hope that if we ever get a finale movie that it’s clear from the get-go what’s happening… I’m getting tired of huge twists because at this point they’re completely expected.

The first two are just season recaps. Good if you miss but didn’t want to watch the whole episodes for a season.
May miss some minor details but major plotwise it’s the same.
Very recently starting in mid 2017 there’s also a mobile game called “Magia Record”. It basically a spinoff visual novel with some gameplay throughout. What striking me its all girls had their transformation newly animated by the original anime studio, if that’s your thing. And besides the main cast there’s also from spinoffs and even loads of new ones, each complete with its own voice clip.
Japan only, sadly, it sets on timeline where Homura finally has grounding so no “badass Homura”, And has Microtransactions as usual so best bet is to just watch it on YouTube.
