That’s crooked.
You got it backwards. The engine design is almost entirely Delta’s, something she started even before meeting Jet. Jet just piggy-backed and did barely any work on it. It was the design that was going to get Delta into pony NASA (whatever it’s called) until Jet got her pregnant. Also, since Jet has built his entire company off that design, he made sure Delta couldn’t legally use it herself or bring it to another company.

why, indeed.
>Feel really depressed after reading comments on every page
>Ugh
I’m not sure.
I think I was drunker than ol’ Delta here.
what does being a starlight fan has anything to do with hugging a cute lil berb

And I’m a Starlight fanboy!
I’m still trying to figure out if delta vee is filled with resentment, or guilt.
right, so you gotta feel the burn. don’t push it too far and you’ll get injured, but don’t push it far enough, and you’ll get sick, frail and weak. then injured.
And yet in the absence of all suffering, you’ll never know what it is to be alive.
no, death is the reason I think life is a tragedy. our fates were sealed the moment we entered the womb, and all we can do is delay the inevitable.
honestly I think suffering is kind of interesting, except that if you suffer too much, then you die sooner.
A tragedy? Life is only a burden if you are permanently unhappy. And if you are permanently unhappy then something went deeply wrong. Sure, it happens, but it isn’t ordinary.
And of course suicide doesn’t really solve any problems and I don’t advise it. But when you are dead you don’t feel pain (only your family, friends, etc. do) and if I understood correctly suffering is the reason you think life is evil. So by your logic the option of suicide makes life not evil. Again, correct me if I misunderstood you.
soon as I figure out how to give birth to my little ponies you’ll be the first to know.
We must secure the existence of our ponies and a future for our foals ^;)
frankly I don’t think the birth rate in “enlightened” societies is the problem. the birth rate in “corporate enslaved fearmongering soul crushing” societies is the problem. good luck wooing a girl when you work 16h a week in 2 jobs! you can’t go hang outside because
the policethe gangs will shoot at you. here, have an addictive phone it’s a requirement for work.you’re right though, people who realize that they don’t need to have a million kids will die off, leaving the next generation stupider and breedier, because that’s only half the equation. what I think people need to learn is that once you’ve figured out that you only need to have kids if there aren’t enough kids, societies that outbreed you are the greatest threat to your children’s future, and must be stopped.

I prefer thinking of the miracle of life hokey as a sort of societal/religious lie to trick people into becoming parents.
A necessary one I guess, seeing as how in enlightened societies, the birth rate’s sinking steadily as more people realize it’s a whole lot of burden for a small chance of offspring with a successful life.
and/or a convenient euphemism for “well shit son, should’ve used a condom.but you can’t tell the kid they were an accidenr”
Edited
saying suicide undoes birth is like saying fast forward is the same thing as rewind. putting out a fire doesn’t make shit unburned. if you’re a failure and you an hero, you don’t stop being a failure, so please don’t advise people that they can undo a mistake by killing themselves. you undo the mistake by raising someone right, and giving them a decent chance at life.
personally, I’m pretty sure there is no miracle of life. anyone believing that is deliberately inflicting life on children to justify their delusion. it’s like believing you’ll get divine favor for sacrificing a child, except you do so very, very slowly. having children is a necessary evil, because we can’t stop dying ourselves. and because making them is fun. but a miracle? more like a tragedy.
Personally I think life is worth it. I mean everything around me sucks, but I can still find happiness in life. And the “have no babies because world is terrible” thing… Well, if someone thinks her parents made a mistake by giving her life, she can undo that mistake any moment she wishes.
And kids (including other people’s kids, you don’t need to have yours) are a big part of “the miracle of life”.
