Description
On the shores of Condoria, the Griffon homeland southwest of Equestria beyond the vast ocean sits upon a large dead crater of a long extinct volcano. Fertile lands yield the crops to feed their numbers and an abundant sea to sate their love of fish, isolated unless reached by sea faring ships the ingenious birds are homogeneous among themselves. The visitors they receive are celebrated and embraced, and the lucky few given gifts during the holy solstice of summer and winter.
Here a mother siren and her young pup had been separated from their pack that had been forced to travel across the Great Lunar Ocean by horrid weather, they ended up coming to shore among the griffon fisher birds. Having fed earlier before the trip that went south, the griffons were not in danger of being drained of negative emotions for the sake of the young siren daughter. For a moment of reprieve and rest, the mother watched and enjoyed the rather warm reception they had received and seemingly adoration for such excitement for the denizens. Jewels and food were bestowed by the locals much to the love of the little one who seemed to be infatuated by the claw crafted pearls and gems of Condoria. The vulnerable family would remain until the mother saw it fit to leave and search for their pod out in the near endless body of water beyond the shores of their sanctuary. It would be a vacation the pup would never forget, especially during the solstice apex of the celebrations, for Condoria had the perfect placement on Equis to truly appreciate the yellow sun that gave their world life and the deity that supposedly reigned over it.
