Treasure Planet had a 72% of audience score, Atlantis the Lost Empire had a 49%. and I’ve seen many people consider them masterpieces.
On the other hand, Star Wars Rise of Skywalker had a 86% of audience score, and the Lion King live-action had a 90%, but I’ve seen that people hated them.

So this logic makes no sense.

That’s kinda wrong. Everyone knows Thor: Ragnarok was a blockbuster hit for everyone. My Little Pony The Movie is also a success. And Wonder Woman. At least it’s not like DC’s other trash like Justice League.

The Vulptex and the Fathier were two of the reasons why I liked ‘The Last Jedi’. The movie had two pretty cool animals in it but other than that, the movie only ended up being ‘Okay’ to me.

I wish ‘The Last Jedi’ was an better movie than it is now but at least it wasn’t an total mess of an film expect for the fact that Snoke is now dead.

Hopefully, ‘Rise of Skywalker’ will be an better movie than ‘The Last Jedi’ but we’ll see what happens.

Rian Johnson ruined this one. But that doesn’t say I’m not an extremist hater like many mankids who whine about its shortcomings. We can hope that Mr. Abrams can only salvage what salvable scraps left by this heap of Coriliean rust had deposited for the final chapter. If he fails, then The Hatedom Strikes Back.

Speaking Fancy - For helping with translations

This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I liked TLJ and thought the MLP movie was all right.

Then again, I’m easy to please when it comes to non-kid-oriented movies.
Ereiam
Pixel Perfection - I still call her Lightning Bolt
Betrayal! - Betrayed their team for a badge. Shame forever!
Solar Guardian - Refused to surrender in the face of the Lunar rebellion and showed utmost loyalty to the Solar Empire (April Fools 2023).
Fine Arts - Two hundred uploads with a score of over a hundred (Safe/Suggestive)
Perfect Pony Plot Provider - Uploader of 10+ images with 350 upvotes or more (Questionable/Explicit)
Notoriously Divine Tagger - Consistently uploads images above and beyond the minimum tag requirements. And/or additionally, bringing over the original description from the source if the image has one. Does NOT apply to the uploader adding several to a dozen tags after originally uploading with minimum to bare tagging.
Cool Crow - "Caw!" An awesome tagger
Magnificent Metadata Maniac - Organization is important.
The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Monde de merde
Tell that to the old-school LPS fanboys who killed the 2012 series with their “Bring Back the Old LPS”/“The New Ones Are Ugly” whining in social media after Hasbro cancelled the series (according to Roger Eschbacher) at its fourth season due to low toy sales.

That’s your key words right here: the fanboys weren’t the ones to blame, the sales figure were.
Old-school LPS fanboys don’t belong to the target demographic of the sold product (i.e. the toy line). It’s solely because the TV show failed to make the product desirable enough for the customer (unlike with MLP, which had a direct positive impact on how well the toys sold, despite how off-model they looked — and bronies are even smaller as a periphery demographic for the toys than they are for the show) that it eventually got canned. It may seem (and likely be) unfair, but sadly that’s how capitalism works.

Again: $1.3 billion. They obviously came from somebodies’ wallets. And if it was good enough for the majority of those somebodies, I can guarantee they will pay their admittance fee again to see Episode IX — no matter their misgivings about its expected quality.
And that what will ultimately weigh in the decision to keep the franchise alive, not the rabid screeching of a vocal minority easy to tune out (otherwise, to take our own fandom as an analogy, Hasbro would’ve pulled the plug on MLP:FiM right after season 3 and the Twilicorngate).
All that drama about fanboys petitioning for the new trilogy to be struck off the canon, or talking of boycotting the next release is just that: drama. If you stop giving it importance, it will stop being important. Simple as that.

@Hollowfox the Stallion
As long as they bring money in, they won’t stop making movies. And The Last Jedi grossed $1.3 billion worldwide, so I’d say we’re in the clear on that account.

As far as I’m concerned, if the old guard of fanboys don’t like it, they can make room for the next generation instead of trying to ruin it for them.

Also, the RT average may be 2.9/5, but IMDb users rate it at 7.4/10. So there’s that.
(Incidentally, the MLP movie scores at 6.2 there, just above the first Equestria Girls movie).
