Ah why must my ships be so weird? So yeah anyways this will be the shipping for Verse B. Below I’ll give reasons to why I ship some of the crazy pairs that I do.
Skypie: Not a crack ship. These two were like automatic best friends in the movie and honestly I don’t see Pinkie really caring that she’s dating a princess. Don’t think Sky would care either lol.
Flutterspike: Okay so, I actually started to ship this after I seeing a nsfw drawing of them lol, I’m not into clop but I don’t like putting on parental controls so oof on my part. On the other hand, I started to think about this ship. Fluttershy is kind, caring, pretty laid-back and attentive. She does however have a backbone when pushed..my points is that her and Spike are pretty similar (besides the shyness) I think that it’s entirely possible Flutters would be there when Spike finally realized the thing with Rarity wasn’t ever going to go anywhere (No hate towards Rarispike shippers!) She’d be there to listen as a friend and nothing more, and they’d grow closer as friends…yada yada you know the rest!
Discolight: Honestly, this was probably the first thing I ever shipped and my love for this ship has only grown. Even in canon Discord loves to mess with Twilight, because she can keep up with him. They challenge each other and are pretty much polar opposites. Which is exactly why it’s so fun to ship them. Twi is the princess of friendship and Discord is Fluttershy’s best friend so of course they’d eventually have to spend some time together.
Dashlestia: At this point I feel like the only person to ship this but whatever I’m not stopping anytime soon. I see Dash as someone who could help Celestia come out of her shell and bring out her playful joker side that she tends to keep behind a mask. At the same time Celestia would help keep Dash calm and learn to be more true to herself. Also it’s adorable.
Cappity: Hahahaha do I even have to say anything? Didja see the movie? They fit purrfect together (I’ll just show myself out…) There’s also the fact Rarity owns a cat, can you imagine the awkward? Also hybrid cat pony babies 10/10
Shiningjack: Ohhhh kayyy, so I already know people are going to hate me for shipping this, but honestly I think Shiny would be the best stallion for AJ! Hear me out: he’s hardworking, strong sense of justice, gentlecolt, but he also likes to have fun! The canon pairing of Shiny and Cadence I just… find really boring… Despite being a royal guard idk, I feel like Shining Armor would be much happier being able to adventure and do things rather than stand around all day…also baby mama drama, Twilight becoming a sister in law to AJ, and drunk AJ shamelessly flirting with Shiny.

I think this artist has Applejack with him through an AU situation based on their other pictures. So you don’t have to worry about her stealing Shining from Cadance.
But
The only way I can even imagine ShiningJack happening is in an AU where Shining and Cadance never got together and never had the spark between them. It would be patently horrible to have it happen at the cost of breaking apart a happy family–not to mention that, as another poster said below me, it would be terribly OOC for Applejack to have a hoof in that familial devastation.
While I don’t ship FlutterSpike, your explanation for it is pretty adorable and I could learn to like it

Just because the show isn’t about romance doesn’t mean the mane6 will never get love interests. The characters grow every season and eventually they will be more episodes like the one with Sugar Belle but with mane6.

I’m honestly surprised that people were making a fuss about Capperity. It’s not one of my top favorite ship the fandom has to offer but I still think it’s pretty cute.
Truth be told, I never thought that the likelihood of a ship happening was all that important a consideration when deciding what ships I liked. Outside of theorizing about a show’s or series’ or what have you future developments, anyway. Considering, at least, how a lot of fan works tend to explore things their parent works cannot or will not do – because of time and budget constraints, or because they don’t fit their theme or rating, or whatever – I never saw a need to stick to canonical certainties. The main canon work covers that already, and our little scenarios and fantasies are more about what we’d like to see, even if we know it isn’t gonna happen.
So, take shipping. Will capperity happen? Hell no. It’s been made quite clear by now that none of the mane six is gonna end up in a serious romantic relationship – that’s not what the show is about, and I do think it would detract from its appeal if deviated from its emphasis on friendship – and to a lesser degree on family – to focus on romance. No ship with Twilight, Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie, Rainbow or Fluttershy has any realistic chance of happening. Doesn’t mean they’re not worth writing about – after all, ain’t this sort of thing what fanfiction is for?
I mean, I still have my limits – I really dislike incest and infidelity ships, and I really, really can’t stand shipping characters who have canonically hateful and/or abusive relationships with each other, but other than that, I don’t think ships really need any more justification that their author liking the actual or potential chemistry their members have or might have.
Capperity is the closest two sided ship of Rarity that she ever had. If you don’t see it then you may be biased toward Rarijack or Sparity which are much less likely to happen than Tay Diggs voicing Capper in Season 8.
Capperity and Shiningjack.
Capperity is simply absurd. Their interactions were more about finding friendship, with Capper learning to trust again more than anything, and Rarity being flirty? Please, she flirts with rocks for fuck’s sake. She likes to flirt because flirting is part of her arsenal, or does no one remember the first 3 seasons? Theirs is a relationship of friendship and understanding.
Shiningjack… yeah. No.
Not sure how skypie’s supposed to be a crackship, though. If anything, I think it’s the second most popular ship to come out of the movie.
