Funny how it’s still considered the “lesser evil” to this day.
 
Technically, the Soviet Union wasn’t Russia. Even though the Russian-SSR and Russians formed the overwhelming majority of the USSR, and the Russian language being the official language of the country. It was more of a union of several states.

Well, to be fair, purely russian culture were destroyed long ago, by Peter the Great. And Soviet Union was, no doubt, not long living, but wery powerfull country, so after it’s destruction, communists rebuild it pretty well.
 
Also, text in art is kinda weird. Last word, to be exact. It means “connect”, like in data transferring terms. It should be “объединяйтесь”, which means “unite”.  
It seems that russian isn’t author’s native lanquage.
