The Sonic 06’ had a good storyline about Mephiles the Dark. He’s the only cool thing about Sonic ‘06.

Lucky, I found out that SEGA brought Mephiles the Dark back again in other Sonic game called ‘Sonic Runners’.

So players can finally play as him.

If my cell phone can support the game then I’m going to download it later.

Oh, also it’s free to download too so you don’t have to pay for it.

Yeah, I know, that’s another reason I doubt it’ll come to a new Nintendo system.

(Frankly, I would’ve loved an actual remake of the Sonic Adventure games, whether HD, or a 3DS remake that improves the games, much like how “Ocarina of Time 3D” fixed the issues with the Water Temple, and such.)

Even despite the Switch’s success, (surpassing the WiiU in less then a year) third-party companies seem to prefer the other consoles based on graphics/power alone. (Which honestly isn’t going to matter soon, as graphics honestly don’t look much better then they did 8 years ago.) And it doesn’t help some like Bob Summerwhill (of EA Sports) feel Nintendo fans “only buy Mario & Zelda,” and are “bad revenue for third-parties.” (Which isn’t true if you look at monthly sales charts for Wii, DS, 3DS, WiiU, and Switch systems.) So sadly, third-parties have alot of bias against Nintendo fans. (Heck, Nintendo let Cloud be in SSB, yet the FF7 rerelease still isn’t getting a Nintendo release. Which is like a middle-finger to Nintendo fans almost from Square/Enix.)

Sorry to rant, but as a Nintendo-fan, (and Sega) I feel a bit disillusioned with third-parties, even ones I love. (Especially, after Capcom released “Disney Afternoon Collection” a collection of NES games for everything, but a Nintendo system, which makes NO sense.) The only weapon the Switch has to get developers on board is by tricking them into thinking it’s a portable system like 3DS, (but with TV option) rather then a console in competition with Sony & Microsoft.

Y’know, honestly sense Sega rereleases it’s old 2D Sonic games in many different formats, (like in game disc compilations, or legal/official download digital store distribution) I honestly wouldn’t mind them rereleasing their older 3D games. Even with minor improvements, and bug fixes, but sadly it’s unlikely Sega will do that, as they wouldn’t want to go through the trouble, and because the media hates every Sonic game that doesn’t scroll from left to right. (And even then, some modern sidescrollers like “Sonic Rush” or Sonic 4:Ep.1&2 get some hate.)

There’s actually rumors that the 2 Sonic Adventure games are coming to Nintendo Switch, but I honestly doubt it. Seeing as Sega isn’t releasing their newest game compilation for it, (If Wii & 3DS can play & sell digital Sega Genesis games, then I don’t buy that the Switch is “not powerful enough.”) and because review sites & Youtubers have tainted the reputation of those games as “games that didn’t age well,” and such.

Some actually prefer that version, (I’ve seen some say they even prefer the night stages) and some don’t have/like the “more powerful” systems.
Or because it was cheaper.

The Hedgehog Engine is actually a pretty impressive piece of programming, since it can render light bouncing off objects in real time, while also running the game. The problem is that it’s really tasking on the system, which meant the PS3 could barely process the game during normal gameplay, so while the option is still there, all other Hedgehog Engine games had the eye candy toned down.
Although you can use a hex editor to turn them back on.

Sonic ‘06. Great Storyline and Awesome 3D Graphics but really, really bad game controls.

The really, really bad game controls is what killed off Sonic ‘06. Yeah, the game made it out the door and into stores but gamers hated the game so much that they say it’s one of the worst Sonic games ever made due to the awful game controls.

Unleashed through was pretty good and is worth picking up if you still have a PS2, Wii, PS3 or X-Box 360.

That is if you haven’t already traded them in at Game Stop for the more powerful PS4, Nintendo Switch or X-Box One.

Magnificent Bastard
If you gotta play Unleashed at least go with the Wii/PS2 version it makes Sun/Moon Metals a none issue and Eggmanland into manageable chunks.
