“Treasure Hunter’s log #519: Tomorrow, I plan to venture into what was once the Everfree Forest. I’ve attempted to hire mercenaries to follow me into the most dangerous location of Equestria, but I’m not sure if any will follow. For those reading of me and my exploits for the first time; I am StinkomanFan, adventurer extraordinaire! I have braved the wastes of the Griffons and retrieved their wondrous statue. I’ve entered the Crystal Empire and found the mirror to another world. I have even found Celestia’s Crown from the burned ruins of Canterlot. But today I venture to find the greatest myth and legend: The Mirror Pool.
 
They say, decades ago, a group of survivors saved Equestria from what scholars call “the Fun Bug”, that nearly lay waste to the land and usurped all, but were able to counter it using the Elements of Harmony. But, hohoho, we all know those tales, unlike mine, are just that. Tales, myths. But an anonymous buyer wishes me to investigate the ruins of what is said to be the mirror pool, blocked by a massive stone and sealed with ancient magic. Take photos, gather samples, the usual things… The Everfree is normally banned from being entered by… anyone really, but I have the connections to make a certain guard look the other way…
