That’s really neat! What got you to give the show a try?
 
For me, it was due to my younger sister. She’s been watching FIM since it first premiered. She wanted to watch the newest episode she had just recorded (season 1 finale) and didn’t know how to bring it up on the DVR. So I showed her how to do it on mine. As it started playing, she asked if she could just stay and watch it. Agreeing, I sat and watched it with her. I found the animation to be pretty nice and the voice work was enjoyable. I watched a few YTPs and parody videos and found them hilarious, and at some point I decided to watch more of the show. By the time season 2 was coming up, I was ready and excited to see what may come next.

I’ve started watching MLP g4 when it was in the middle of season 6.

Man, it’s all gone by so fast. It does not feel like eight years, and yet it does at the same time. My life has changed a lot over the past several years, and so has MLP. It feels like only a few months ago when I was sitting down and watching season 2 every single morning. The summer before it premiered, my sister had gotten me into the show and by the time season 2 was almost here, I was so ready!
 
I’m so happy to have been on this amazing journey with y’all. I may not have been here at the beginning, but I’ll be with it to whatever end may await us.

Joking aside, it’s been a pleasure seeing the fandom and series grow these past few years
