Hey, stop talking nonsense! this is not official. Ishi is not giving us a logical explanation. The ages of the equestria girls were not actually officially confirmed. It is for that reason that it is not on Hasbro’s official list. A director of a show has to dictate an exact age to each character as Lauren Faust confirmed the official ages of the DC superhero girls 2019. In high school not only teenagers attend, but young people of any age attend that school as well as both in high school. university, that explains in the real world. Jayson Thiessen is the true creator of equestria girls and Ishi was second, since Jayson left the entire project in Ishi’s hands, this is too confusing. They left us only ambiguous. I have been talking to ishi since 2019 and I still have his ‘‘like’’, she agreed with me that sunset shimmer and the main (including twilight) are 17-21 years old, but they are officially teenagers like timber and glorious. that’s the only thing they are not wrong.
What makes you say that?
In that case, them literally being Xteen years old wouldn’t even matter and would make no difference. The ponies in the show are simply not equivalent to human teenagers, which is what’s really important here.
Why assume they can’t be in their teens? The ponies don’t seem to have the equivalent of high school education. It’s entirely possible for them to become legal adults at a much younger age. For example in early medieval england one was considered an adult by the age of 15 when one could take up arms. And of course there’s also the case that ponies might also reach physical maturity faster.
I see no reason the m6 couldn’t be in their teens.
Yeah, he’s definitely talking about Equestria Girls. The ponies are most certainly not teenagers, they’re adults in their early 20s (though I could believe that Twilight was 19 at the start of the series).
Well, if I’m right and you’re considered an adult in Equestria by the age of 17/18, why wouldn’t they call themselves full grown ponies?
So let’s go…
Twilight is refered as a “full grown pony” for the first time in episode 25 season 5.
Then our ponies called themselves as “full grown ponies” in episode 24 season 7.
In episode 14 season 6, Rainbow Dash refered to herself and the other ponies as “grown-ups”. Saying that it was good just letting the kids drive the carts.
In the second book of “Ponyville Mysteries” they are also refered as “grown-ups”.
So people please stop saying that they have never refered to the mane6 as adults because it isn’t true.
Maybe Twilight’s a full grown pony because that’s what you’re considered in Equestria when you’re 17.
How come if Twilight is a full-grown pony?
Except by the fact that Twilight was called a full-grown pony.
According to Rudell Twilight is only slightly younger than Sunset meaning she’s not that much older.
She already spent years in the human world in addition to being around Twilight’s age while she was still Celestia’s student at least some time before season 1 if not much earlier. There’s no way to be certain of how old she is, but at the very least she’s the oldest in the group.

Why not? Why can’t sunset be that young?
edit: Though I guess converting equestrian years doesn’t really make much sense.

I think it’s not much about them being teenagers but more so about saying Sunset is around that age too. I’ve seen people assume she’s thirty years old.
He said “about or around”, which means they’re about/around 16-20.
In some places, 16 is legal.
Why the hell am I even thinking this?
And the group probably has variation, like their pony counterparts.
denialfa*s btfo!
That’s the beauty of fiction. It’s endlessly convenient. ^_^
not if you want them to be 18
Around 10-15 was their mental age, not their biological age.
