Exactly. They almost never make new molds. The new ones are using Applejack’s family members from an old blind bag (that had only a few new molds), a Maud mold that was sold with Pinkie and Gummy and Mrs. Cake, Mr. Cake isn’t in the list since his mold is Nightmare Night based, so every male is either an Shining Armor that I have no idea where came from and a Big Mac mold.  
If griffons ever come in those, they will probably use Gilda’s mold.  
Edit: Forgot about the breezies. Still, all of them look the same.

The funny thing is, the blind bag cards would probably do exactly this. They’re STILL just recoloring mane 6 vectors for most of the characters within them.
