I just wish they could give us minis for more prominent characters. Specially Aria and Cadence in my opinion.
My only complain is that I wish Hasbro and the people involved could give us some more main and secundary characters instead of background ones.

Admittedly, Roseluck isn’t so bad of a choice. She’s a character who does show up in the EQG series, albeit rarely, and is a character fans know and love. Not as much as others, certainly, but I’m happy she got in. It’s just one of those things where, again, Hasbro’s priority of who gets figures who doesn’t is off.
To be honest, I am actually happy Flash got a figure. Not only that, but he’s one of the few early figures that can stand on his own without a stand (the other being Sunset), so I really appreciated that. I hope one of these days, they release another mini with either his Digital Series look or his original but with his usual outfit.

Does that mean that even Hasbro will forget about Wallflower?
OK, maybe not hte best joke hehe. Anyway, yeah, it sucks. I mean, I’m pretty sure there’s a lot of characters that we would like to see as minis and yet they receive none of it. Aria, Sonata and the Shadowbolts are pretty sad cases, as well as Gloriosa. Heck, what about dean Cadence? what about Big Mac? (as far as I remember Flash is the only guy with a mini, correct me if I’m wrong) what about Shining? Even divisive but relatively more important characters like Timber or Zephyr are left out in favor of background characters.
If you have another character you want to see as a mini, you can speak here.
Are they blind bag size? From the screenshot, they look like they’re around the size of the GoH figures, though they are lacking the joints. If so, then yes, they count, for some reason I didn’t hear about them, and I’m going to go and buy them right now.
It still sucks that the priority of who gets figures is out of whack. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon somehow got theirs long before Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo and for some reason they decided dreck like Svengallop is worthy of a unique mold while Trixie and Sunset have to settle for Rarity recolors. And while I feel they’re a little more focused with the minis, it still sucks that there’s no Lyra to go with Bon Bon or Sonata and Aria to go with Adagio. And the lack of Shadowbolts figures is depressing. Gloriosa doesn’t have one either and at this rate, I highly doubt Wallflower will get one too. And yet there’s Juniper over there with a mini of her own.
What about these:
She got a Mini because her doll was extremely popular based on her looks. Sonata almost got a Mini but it was scrapped in the late prototype phase and the head was re purposed and given to Slumber Party Twilight.
The people in charge don’t always know what they are talking about, or even what they are doing. Like I said, toy sales went down for the 2000 He-Man series because they were clinging too much to 80’s sales figures and only giving us He-Man, Skeletor and Man-At-Arms.
On an only vaguely related matter, if I were a parent, I wouldn’t get my child the same toy over and over just because it had a lick of new paint. This makes me wonder why they didn’t release dressable versions and then release clothes and accessory packs or something.
One can’t simply say to a toy company that they shouldn’t care about toy. A tragic case here, but yeah.

Oh, it’s THAT kind of decision making. Reminds me of how the 2000 He-Man show got canceled because the toy-line stopped selling because all they ever released were variations of He-Man, Skeletor and Man-At-Arms while most of the cast didn’t have toys at all…
If they’re using the doll sales for their decision making, then that sucks because the DOLLS SUCK and look horrendous. If they actually looked like they did in the cartoon, maybe their sales would have been different, which is one of the best qualities of the Minis, that they actually look like they supposed to.
So… did the Roseluck doll sell well? If it did, then that’s further proof that children bought the dolls based on their appearance alone.
Because Hasbro is interested in sales especially the main characters, Sonata and Aria did not have good sales and so did not make them, even Sunset Shimmer was manufactured in low numbers and its first version was very scarce, thanks to its high sales and the good that has gone to his merchandise was definitely integrated into the main cast.
I know!!
I mean, c’mon.
Sure, Sonata is the “popular” one, but being honest the three dazzlings are so popular and liked by the fandom that they deserve more toys. Having the three mini dazzlings not only would make feel the collection more complete, but also we could have interesting “Eqventures of the minis” with those two aditions alongside with Lyra and the shadowbolts.
Not to mention, even if Adagio got a toy, she hasn’t received any other variants either, only having her “battle of bands” costume. (OK, that costume is great and amazing, and maybe the sushi-hawaiian-musical-sports-swimsuit-whatever variantions are mostly for main characters, but still, it would be nice to see Adagio with er regular outfit, or maybe even her hood costume.)
