Man, if that was the case, I would have played Dr. Ron Paul - The Happening while I browse through angry Starlight fans’ reactions and comments throughout Derpibooru, Fimfiction and other websites and laughing nonstop. But seriously, if that would happen, the entire fandom could plunge to chaos as we all know that Starlight is a really…divisive character. Ok, I might be exaggerating again but still…
Honestly, if Starlight turns out to still be evil, that’ll be one of the few things that’ll actually make me stop watching

From the looks of it, the ponies are too trusting. Maybe that’s the reason why Starlight’s “backstory” was a bit lacking…She could make an obviously fake story and still get everyone to react with sympathy. Okay, I might be exaggerating a lot but still.
Would definitely make for a good twist. Also have her “sad” backstory be made up for the purpose of fake redemption because she saw how easy it is to get ponies’ trust.

You know, everytime I hear that, I tend to think that Starlight’s redemption is less geniune and more of a ruse to gain everyone’s trust and get their guards down just so she can carry out her big plan to mind control everyone and steal their cutie marks.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that episode.
It seemed more like an “obey” spell less than an “assuming direct control” spell, though.
She did figure out how to mind control, didn’t she?
Honestly Glimmer is so OP she could beat the princesses in many ways like taking their cutie marks.
