I had a lot of internal debate about how I should depict the Sphinx. One of my original designs had a more centaur-ish form, but in the end I settled with what you see now

Why is the sphinx standing on 2 legs? Sphinx’s are supposed to be half lion, lions are quadrupedal, and sphinx’s have historically always been portrayed as such.
