i want to make something to fix with the new episode to show even the most stubborn can change there ways for the better and also i like the way he looks too the shading is messy but i tried my best i still need to work on it though and also the light it’s suppose to be from when he first transformed and is shining on chrysalis in away that she still has a chance i really hope things will go well.

Well it would not be unusual but I still see chrysalis as a young queen being told the ways of the changeling when she was young but her mother then when she left the hive as a sort of nuptial flight similar to ants with her brothers and sisters if she had any to start her own hive then with out knowing a better way and her love of being queen got to her head, she became stubborn so she did not like the new way of feeding or living like thorax and that she thought feeding off of other creatures was the only way so which is why she invaded canterlot so she can feed her people while showing who is boss, not sure about a proto queen but what ever floats your boat but in all she did seem to care for her changelings and did appreciate their help.
It’s kinda sad that when fans saw chrysalis and the others almost liking friendship I like to say fans did show mercy or at least show they were upset chrysalis and the others were turned to stone while the ponies did not but if they knew what they went through they will give them a chance to reform, it’s a really sad ending for them but I hope they will reform one day
There is one way, though instead of it being shoehorned in, have it be wlowly built up in the bqckdrop of the story over time. That Chrysalis had more to her reasoning for attacking Equedtria that partially tied into the Season 2 “Act of Desperation” Theory (the theory that says the only reason Chrysalis in The Canterlot Wedding attacked Canterlot was to feed her people who were slowly dying out), only this time instead of it being desperation to save her people from dying, it was to save some_ling_: that someling being her own family.
Changeling culture was downright brutal and cruel before Chrysalis came into power, and in order to survive Chrysalis had to push aside her morality to become the same kind of Monster that her sisters and mother once were. Chrysalis was originally a Proto-Queen: similar to the Queen in that they are the only Changelings in the entire Hive that have the capability to Breed and produce eggs for new generations of Changelings for the Hive. The Queen maintained power over the Hive by pitting Proto-Queens against one-another, it wasn’t uncommon for a Changeling to see one Proto-Queen trying to fight a personal war against another Proto-Queen for power over the Hive. But the only time when the Queen got directly involved in the affairs of Proto-Queens, would be if the Queen discovers that one Proto-Queen manages to produce a Proto-Queen of their own.
Changeling biology works in that their eggs must meet certain conditions to become assigned to a particular caste when lain. However, Proto-Queens are unique in that their eggs are not actually lain and hatched in hatcheries, but instead kept safely inside of the Queen or Proto-Queens oviduct inside of a special “pouch” that holds onto the egg and saturates it with more than enough Love. The key difference between normal Changelings and Proto-Queens being that Proto-Queens have no holes in their legs due to how much Love they were fed by the Queen in the oviduct, only when a Proto-Queen develops, the Love within the Queens leg chitin is sapped away rezulting in the scrred hole-like appearance.
To many, the relationship between Queens and Proto-Queens are not too different from that of a mother and their daughter; in many cases treating like an actual family. However when a Proto-Queen develops a Proto-Queen of their own, the Queen would see this as a direct threat and challenge to her control over the Hive and do either of two things: have the Proto-Queen kill the Nymph to prove the older changelings loyalty to the Hive, or kill the older Proto-Queen and replace her with the Nymph she dared to have… it was in these choices that Chrysalis found herself in with her Queen: to kill her Nymph, or die for her Nymph… and it is here that Proto-Queen Chrysalis picked a third option: to kill her mother and her sisters altogether just to protect her Nymph: Proto-Queen Ocellus
But when it bites them they will have all the other beings they had faith in to defend them. It is not a fruitless endeavour. Their reality is not ours.

I don’t care what hypothetical scenarios anyone can give out, Chrysalis being reformed at this point would feel shoehorned for me. Become bunkmates with Tirek in Tartarus or go the Great Beyond with Sombra, Chryssie, plz thx.

Yeah, they accepted him for who he was and realized that he was right and they were mistaken, too caught up in the fact that they weren’t all perpetually starving and overly enjoying the peace they had.
The change from black soldier to rainbow stag is the “end” of the caterpillar form and an end of the terrible hunger they feel all the time and is something of a reward for returning all the love they devoured in their previous form, maintaining a balance.
Much like a caterpillar eats a great deal of greens, but as a butterfly, they travel from flower to flower, encouraging the reproduction of the plants and a continuation of the cycle.
At least it seems you understand others just don’t there changeling they would of still acsepted him if he did not transform but it was bound to happen anyways because again there changelings
I like you, you actually pay attention to the show and its messages.
We’re learning, slowly, that the black form is actually bad for the changelings themselves. Much like a caterpillar; sure that form may have the stinging barbs, acidic spray, and such, but it’s driven by an insatiable hunger and cannot reproduce.
By taking on the new form, he no longer has that “eternal pain” that the changelings were suffering from.
Well it did mostly wrap itself up when you put it that way but did he really have to conform/to transform to look like the rest? It kinda takes away from his unique old-school identity when the lesson he learns also makes him become visually like everyone else. I dunno, I guess in the end my sentiments get the better of me in this episode. By that I mean I miss the old changelings and Chrysalis. They used to be so cool and less gay (touchy feely).
Then you didn’t pay attention to the wrapup.
Pharynx was trying to show that the hive should still be defending it’s self and be ready for trouble, but everyone else was too busy making nice and doing arts and crafts with NO ONE looking out for potential problems. Pharynx wouldn’t change because no one who did was accepting the fact that Chrysalis actually was right about something.
Thorax and the others eventually realized that they can be nice, but still be ready to defend themselves and that, those who wanted to defend the hive would be best lead by Pharynx, who was the only one who never gave up fighting.
That is why he changed forms. And heck, the first thing he did after changing was “Hey, you wanna hear about the time I made Thorax hit himself?”
He’s still a militant prick, he’s just not alienated now.
Makes sense because it’d be like losing herself just so she can conform and become just like Equestrian ponies. It sucks because in the newest episode Changelings were all like “Dude, Pharynx is not only a dick but he also refuses to change to be like us. We want him to be a pansy like us! well, maybe he can teach us not to be such pansies-Oh look he changed into a pansy, yay!”
