Amusingly, the phrase I said is part of the mandala effect my brother, cousin, and myself have faced.
 
In Pirates of the Caribbean (the first), Jack is trying to convince Barbosa to let him work with him near the end of the film by making various offers. He then offers “I’ll get you a hat. A REALLY big one.”
 
However, my brother, cousin, and myself distinctly remember him finishing it “with a feather in it”. We remember it so well, we’d detail mundane statements ending “with a feather in it”.
 
Come time when we re-watched the movie and… it’s gone.
 
No “feather” moment at all. Checking the bloopers didn’t help, nor deleted scenes, and it just doesn’t exist.
