But when you think about it, at least two kids learned something out of it. Sure, it’s just a small portion, but they still learned something nonetheless. Not one single adult learned a thing, but rather complained and encased the material instead of enjoying it.
Nah, the moral is at least partly that no matter how vocal detractors may be, there are still those who see the show/lessons for what they are meant to be and appreciate them. And that that is what’s important.
Though I gotta admit, seeing the characters react to various real world criticisms stung a bit at times. It just hit so close to home even though I am only somewhat a part of this fandom’s culture.
