Eros is most likely an entity with a similar ability to drain magic from surroundings, given his human origins, and thus is most likely draining magical energy from the surroundings around him at a speed equal to Anon with the cuffs off.
 
Celestia and Luna seem unaffected by magic drain when Eros was around them. Except being entranced for fucking.
