They are secondary canon, meaning they’re canon unless contradicted by the show.
Not to be that guy, but the comics are considered deuterocanonical and thus may not necessarily be accurate or canon.
I doubt that since this is a tame picture
so, I could say Shining was born in 1991 and twilight in 1998-99
You have the right idea.
That makes sense :3 However I’d say more, like 8-9 years. In the comics Twi Still had a babysitter when Shining was graduating from high school.

Well, the way I see it, probably 5 or 6 years
Shining is in the mid-20s while Twi is probably close to 18-19
Night Light and Velvet, possibly in 45-50 by now
