Yeah. I'm just a big fan of the whole idea of alternate universes. One of the things I'm working on at the moment (which is not MLP related in any way) actually features multiple universes as a main plot element.


 
And yeah, I gotta agree on that one. There are very few ways one can go about making a decent alicorn OC.
