Spongebob the movie on PS2, GameCube and Xbox was pretty good

Level 3
Twilight Sparkle: I can’t believe we failed. Equestria is-

One of the levels that take place in Seaquestria

Yah, but I just get an uneasy feeling that companies like Norton Antivirus are somehow involved with the problem they are fixing…
It is logistically impossible to “virus proof” any computer system entirely. As long as there are computers built by humans and they are connected to networks full of other humans, people will try to break into them, and eventually find an exploit. It’s like the argument, “What will the police do once all crime is eradicated?” It’s a pointless argument; that will never happen. Humans are driven to exploit the weaknesses of others, and that includes computer systems. Antivirus companies and white-hat hackers will always be needed.
Anti virus software is a very political area that can lead people to trouble, people are better off using one that has very good and honest reviews.
Think of it like there’s a story on the news that’s important to you, if you stuck with just one news source that turns out to be very biased, then you will probably be screwed.
If you take your story and gather information and details from as many possible sources as humanly possible, then you will be better off.
My own opinion with Antivirus software, especially software that you need to pay for, I find it very troublesome that those companies financially depend on a constant supply of new viruses to continue to provide a need for people to continue to pay for Antivirus protection.
Imagine if you made a living selling computer virus insurance, but then all of the sudden Microsoft got their act together and Windows 12 was absolutely virus proofed? What would happen to your insurance coverage?
I’m kinda the opposite, as I prefer consoles.
With PC gaming, you always have to have alot of knowledge of computer stuff, always have to customize, upgrade your system, (I never cared for all that “modding stuff” no offense) or have certain accessories/controllers to play games. (That aren’t always guaranteed to work.) Plus, I always have bad luck with computers, as every few years, they break down for one reason or another. (One time my CPU broke for no real reason. Had no viruses or anything.) Even with all the anti-virus protection I have, something always happens.
I guess I’m just not a huge PC nerd unfortunately, who knows how to fix computers, customize ’em, and such.
Meanwhile, I actually have old Nintendo systems that still work. So I find consoles dedicated to gaming a bit more comfortable without all the complexity.
Heh I personally don’t have many console games anymore, the only two that I still play regularly are the Katamari and Loco Roco games.
The whole blood and violence in games that you want to sell to little kids thing reminds me of how Bethesda wants to sell the Fallout games in super super nanny states (was it Great Britain or Germany that wanted the games heavily censored?) anyways there was aftermarket uncensor patches for Fallout that could readd blood and other stuff back into the game.
I really love the PC for all of its freedoms…
I think I have recently heard about both the Xbox and Playstation network taking down mods from Fallout 4 for whatever reason, it’s s shame really, I was thinking about buying a PS4…
Oh well, I guess I’ll get more milage out of my PS3.
I don’t really bare any ill will against the ESRB, but they’re oddly very inconsistent sometimes. I can kinda understand “EarthBound” getting a “T for Teen” ESRB rating, but I haven’t seen anything much in “EarthBound Beginnings” (the NES prequel one) that qualifies for T rating. (Aside from a NPC saying “tiger droppings.”)
Also, ironically, “Ocarina of Time 3D” is “E-10” rated, but all the red blood stains were removed from the Shadow Temple, (and the Dead Hand mini boss) Ruto’s “Barbie doll nudity” was censored, and such. Meanwhile the original uncensored N64 version for Virtual Console is still “E” rated.
The red blood when Ganondorf “coughs-up, or when Link delivers the “final blow” at the end of the game is still censored green though in both versions. (And is only present if you still have an early N64 cartridge.)
Fear the wrath of the soccer mom because she has money and lots of like minded friends… But her kid simply wants to play a really neat video game…
Fantastical and mischievous use of alcohol would be enough for me to buy the video game!
Ecco defender of the future said “animated blood”, but I never saw any blood in game.
But the show has all of those things. “Use of Alcohol” you say? What do you think the “cider” they were drinking was?
Listen. I want this to be child friendly, okay?
That’s more like it!
The Spider-Man 2 game is very well regarded.
“Goldeneye 007?”
The old Disney Capcom games were also pretty good. Virgin’s Lion King (SNES/Sega) was pretty good too, but quite challenging in some parts.
