Ok I just read this comic and it seems like Spike was the only one with common sense. So in a way, some of the other characters who should know better are dumbed-down to make Spike look good. And no one is loosing their minds and throwing fits over this.
 
So let me get this straight. It's ok to do that with Spike, but not with Starlight?
