Another aspect is obviously doing away with the candy-colored skin. A third step is making their body types vary.
 
I mean, EGs look human, but they don’t really 100% scream “NORMAL HUMAN”, do they? Pretty much every girl of the same age seen in EG1 has the same body, the only variance being the younger CMC + Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, and the long-legged principals.
