Saw the ad. I didn’t see anything wrong with it. Some people will find a problem with anything these days. As for neckbeards, I, myself, can’t grow a proper beard so it’s more about procrastination than anything else. Plus it’s getting cold soon so I’ll need more padding.

It was a good ad. It was nice to have people from small children to military men appear in the advert to thank everybody who works on the show. It’s a nice gesture

The fact that the credits are 5 times longer than the ad itself is funny to me for some reason.

@Carmen Complete agreement. And I was really apprehensive of the ad at first too but it turned out fine. It’s already aired today, in fact.

Let’s just agree that everyone in the human race is a freak and be done with it.

I can see zero issue with this commercial, I thought it was rather sweet even.
 
I imagine the kinds of people who are all sore about this are the more rabid and ridiculous fans who pick a worst pony while the real premise just sails over their heads.
 
And by premise, I mean that while the show doesn’t really need to tell us older fans how to be nice, it really only reminds us to make the effort to be decent human beings. On or off the internet.

I’m OK with the ad. Nothing wrong with it.

The ad’s fine. A good mix of adults and children, male and female, civilian and military, nobody looks odd or creepy - just a bunch of regular people, really.. If there’s one shortcoming it’s the lack of racial diversity - pretty much everyone was white Anglo-Saxon, and from going to meetups myself (even here in the UK, which is less racially-diverse than the US) I know that’s not representative, but maybe those were the only people they could get to appear in the ad.

I thought the ad was fine i say people are just butthurt they werent picked. Displays a wide varity of bronies from different walks of life in a short amount of time and expressing how they love it and in a way how it made them better people

It’s really ridulous…from all the people who’d downvote, piss and moan about and outright blast pictures for not being a popular ship/humanizing character in different races/expressing ideas and interpratations outside of whats popularly held among the fandom…people who want to be a little bit humble and thankful are the bad guys, suddenly.
