I like Starlight Glimmer, but respect that Badumsquish does not. So instead of talking his ear off about a character he doesn’t like. I will say that I really like this image. It made me laugh. :D
It’s perfectly Rarity in the Gala episode and the Simple Ways episode.
@hakirayleigh
Nah, if it’s just a Starlight episode I’m skipping the shit out of it and waiting for a Celestia episode that’s actually about her which will probably never actually happen. I’m fairly certain they just don’t like Celestia D:
@Starswirl
Lol yeah, it was kind of dead on arrival. Rarity was only interested in his status and (possibly) money :P
Still, I prefer that to Rarispike because I actually find that ship pretty creepy.
@Starswirl
And that while Zephyr was just thirsty, Blue was actively being rude and spoiled. While there’s a chance with Zephyr and Dash, Rarity and Blue was a dry well before the cake scene in Best Night Ever.
@Meanlucario
As of the time of this post, both ships are sitting at 67. And you make a great point; added to that, Zephyr was the focus of the episode, while Blueblood played a minor role, and Zephyr didn’t have to compete with a massive fan favourite as RarityXSpike. Blueblood didn’t get much shipping outside of one with Trixie, really, which has stubbornly refused to go away.
@Starswirl
Really? I’m surprised that they’re about the same, though seeing that Blue came in at the end of season 1, and Zephyr the middle of 6, it seems that people warm up to Zephyr faster than Blue. It may help that Zephyr was just an annoyance, instead of a jerk like Blue.
@Badumsquish
Hm. Probably. Going back to the image, I’m a little bit surprised how thoroughly the original episode managed to sink that ship. Fandoms are usually more resistant to that kind of thing. RarityXBlueblood has the same number of pictures as Zephyr BreezeXRainbow Dash.
