To summarize (and add to) my old comment on >>1189832 (only if you want to look or cross-reference):
 
• Fleetfoot still has green eyes despite having purple eyes for 2+ years in the TV show prior to the set’s release (and maybe development), suitlessness aside.
 
• Thunderlane’s (and Misty Fly’s) manes and tails are in a solid color, and lack the hair’s highlights present on previous versions of both their toys. (Thunderlane at least trades them for a correct-facing cutie mark though.) Especially noticeable when Spitfire has the same template and still has her hair highlights.
 
• The yellow bolt highlights are only around one of the four sleeves on the Wonderbolt suit (the foreleg on the same side that the display is viewed from) when previous versions had them on all four.
 
• The back of the box shows lightning streak as one of the toys but the actual toy appears to be fire streak instead. It also misidentifies Soarin for Wave Chill but fortunately the actual Wave Chill toy has the right colors.
 
• My original comment mentions “several fanmade vectors” but the only one I felt where this was the case after closer inspection (that’s a picture I threw together for social media over half a year ago) was the Spitfire one, even if many of the others appear to be taken from similar frames from the TV show. That aside it’s nothing new (i.e. the fanmade Spitfire prototype cutie mark that appears on the Guardians of Harmony set).
 
 
I saw it quite often on my visits to Target, but the more times I came back even just to see it, the more things I found that personally kept me from buying it (whether for myself or for friends), even when it got price cuts. Especially if I already owned some of the toys from previous toysets from when I feel they were manufactured in better quality.

what are the other issues?

The same toyset also calls Misty Fly “Icy Mist”, even though Misty Fly’s name came from the blindbag toys in the first place before it was in the show ¯\_(ツ)_/¯…
 
But that’s only one of at least a few issues with this set.
