I don’t blame him for bailing. All the harassment and attempted molestation would drive anyone crazy.  
I hope Twilights genuine platonic love for him prevents her from succumbing to this magically induced lust so she can be there for him emotionally. I think that would be really touching. A great poignent moment in an otherwise lighthearted and silly comic
 
Otherwise I think he’d crack if his mother/sister figure tried to jump his bones.
