actually in Norse mythology Loki is in hell bound to a rock with the intestines of one of his children (i forget which) with a giant snake head above him that is slowly dripping acid on him (it’s like a never ending money shot from hell) and the whole idea of Radnarok is loki gets free and raises those in hell to fight with him in an epic battle (ragnarok) that pretty much destroys the world … The war god Odin is pretty much the first to die (though not surprising since he has the power to bring back the dead) though he dies in a stupid way. Fenrir (loki’s wolf son) tackles him off Sleipnir and mauls the fuck out of him :|
 
Thor dies too but that was poison from a giant snake and that snakes skull gets crushed by the mjolnir before he subcomes to the poison
