As interesting and somewhat pleasing as it is to see Starlight get the biped treatment, it warrants uncertainty her appearance feels shoehorned. So long as the EQG series remains focused on Sunset’s growth and this is a one-time meeting between the two, I’m fine with it.
 
For now it be best if we not jump the gun and remain patient.

fudge off, we’ve been waiting for a long time for Sunset to show up in FiM, but they instead shove Glimmer in our faces, so of course we’re gonna complain about it

Except she is barely in the show, so she can’t drag down characters who most of the time don’t even interact with her, and if we’re going by the tvtropes definition of character shilling, the characters don’t constantly give her unearned praise.

Eh. I’m pretty optimistic about it. I haven’t really been let down by the writers since Princess Spike. Well…and 28 Pranks Later.
 
But I can understand the pessimism. I just think people should wait before we make any unfair decisions on it.
