You know how hilarious it would be if the bat ponies left eye actually was blind? And he had his patch over the right eye, his only good eye?
“Where did everyone go? Who turned out the lights?”
But yah I know that people who go around with some sort cover over one usually don’t have total blindness in that eye, it could mean they have sensitivity to light or depth perception issues with that eye.

I suppose that’s better than them being permanently lose an eye.
But I kinda liked the continuity; Usually the eye-patch would last like a scene or two and then be back to normal.
