@Bexar Bandito
The fact that she didn’t hesitate to mind control the mane 6 (sans Twilight) still shows a disturbing lack of empathy.
She’s not really a true sociopath that isn’t capable of empathy, she’s just… Learning to have it. Hence my comparison of her to a child who hasn’t yet learned to empathize.
The reason I said “same thing” is because how I meant it, both aren’t empathizing, though technically speaking there’s a huge distinction in-between those who are incapable and those who just haven’t learned yet.
i think discord fits the definition of a sociopath a lot better than glimmer does. glimmer seems to show genuine remorse for the messed-up stuff she did and has spent the better part of a season effectively receiving criminal rehabilitation counseling from twilight. discord, on the other hand, seems to show no loyalty or allegiance to any character on the show other than fluttershy, who he also happens to be extremely possessive and overprotective of. i might be powerleveling a bit when i admit that i’ve met people like discord irl who are born sociopaths that end up making the conscious decision to live their lives as functioning members of society only because they happen to be in love with a non-sociopath.
now, i’m not stating outright that discord might be deeply infatuated with fluttershy, but i may be implying it very loudly.
Eh, potato potato, same thing. :q

Huh, well she always seemed to me like a grown adult with some serious social development problems whose trying her best to adapt and evolve her mindset to become a productive member of society.
What a cute little psychopath.
You know, there are adult, scary psychopaths… but also, young children who haven’t yet learned are psychopaths in an innocent way.
Glimglam seems to kind of fall in-between the two.
