A Sudden Betrayal
Midnight Sparkle and Gaea Everfree was gonna take over Equestria. But due to Gloriosa’s intellect, and the second set of the same magical geodes, Gaea became obsessed with nature and started to tie up Midnight Sparkle. She tells her that she will have Equestria to herself and forge Everfree. She will immediately kill Midnight Sparkle by smothering her in her thick brambles.

I agree, that’s what I think all the time. Even the author of the LoE book thinks that Gaea is the strongest EG villain, but seeing what Midnight can do, I strongly disagree.
