Dedicated to SydneyRoo, who made me a die-hard Gilda fan. I like to think of gryphons, even nasty ones like Gilda, as regal, majestic creatures, and as noble symbols.
This picture is influenced by some stories that I am currently writing (in which a gryphon is used as the national symbol of some countries, representing their cultures, justice, and order), and two regal flags, of Sri Lanka and Venice:
