I’m ready. Let’s see how my dice try to kill me using a different game.
I can do you one better, giving you a link to the major sites for the Pathfinder RPG that have got together the resources for this system.
Edited
Could you PM me a link to the books?
I understand, though you can actually find most of the resources for Pathfinder online. No need to buy the books.
Also, I hope I didn’t come across as stubborn and single minded. I want to taste Pathfinder one day, but I’m currently using 3.5 right now, and lack the books to even try.
They’re glass cannons, so them having the power makes sense. Warriors are the meat shields and to deal damage at those that are resistant/immune to magic.
Consider the overall utility and power of a wizard once they get into the double digits as well by the time they reach 2016th level… Now consider any non-casting class. Also, consider how problematic or even broken some spells are.
Though I have enjoyed using it, there is I feel a clear issue with balance when it comes to the magic system of D&D. There is even a trope for this: Linear Warriors, Quadratic Wizards.
Think I’ll stink with 3.5 for now; I have over 30 digital books for 3.5, over 20 characters I have planned, and I don’t see what’s wrong with the magic system.
There has been improvements there, helped with such books as the Weapon Master’s Handbook and Armor Master’s Handbook by Paizo as well the Unchained Fighter from Everyman Gaming.
I’m aware about the number of races, though I heard that the feats are a killer, since many of the fighter feats are broken into multiple feats, and puts fighters at a disadvantage.
Yes, though IMHO the pros out way the cons… especially when one considers 3rd party.
*Ponyfinder, though this is currently being converted to D&D 5e, which allows ponies and other familiar races into the game from the show.
*Ultimate Charisma, which makes Leadership into a mechanic of the game not a feat that as well adds in psychological combat.
*Spheres of Power, which turns spellcasting into a feat based system that creates an approach where spell casters are firmly at or near Tier 3 in ability. Very much helping to lessen the gap between martials and casters.
I’ve never played Path, though I heard that it’s like 3.5, with different pros and cons.
Still, if we were taking consideration of the fact the main six are pretty exceptional… Well that does effect things.
I mean I have figured out ways, one in particular, of having a character that can break the sound barrier… Sighs, but it requires a full 2016th level build. Heh
Personally though I’d probably go with the Pathfinder instead of D&D system for the simple fact I can then use the resource called Spheres of Power which allows for more flexible if lower power and balanced magic system.
The default power of magic in D&D, is a bit… High when considering that of Equestria. At least once you start getting up to 7th level or higher.
This is the generic 3d6 or 4d6, take away the lowest roll. rolling 4 dice and re-rolling a 1 seems too “easy” to me, especially considering that you can play a warlock with a 3 in all stats.
Honestly though, what dice method are you rolling? In the games I’m apart of we at least go with rolling 4d6, reroll 1s. Her stats overall seem a bit low.
Maybe a 12 would work.
I says that is a more reasonable spread for her stats.
Admittedly, given the fact she has found herself crashing into buildings and breaking the sound barrier… One could make the argument that her Constitution isn’t too shabby.
Though there was that one time that she crashed and broke her wing.

I think it’s more of
Str 16
Dex 18
Con 10
Int 7
Wis 8
Cha 6
If we’re using D&D 3.5 here, scout or rouge for class.
You can have a character be fairly intelligent yet also rash and quick to rush into things while trying to pull of stunts that cause her to crash. If anything, overestimating her capabilities I feel good for more Wisdom than Intelligence.
I wouldn’t have her intelligence be any lower then a 6, and probably even an 8. Keep in mind, apart from her learning differently and not always thinking things through, she has I feel shown herself to be fairly intelligent.
Honestly, I believe you’re not giving Rainbow Dash enough credit by giving her an Intelligence of 4 or 5.

I was trying to go with How Rainbow Dash is in the show. She seems incredibly stupid to crash into houses all the time doing stunts and seems to get by on dumb luck.
I can’t edit it now, but I guess she Intelligence would be a little higher, let’s say…
5?
I’m sorry, but a character with intelligence 4 would generally be illiteracy and mentally challanged… Arguably even disabled with difficulty speaking full sentences if they could speak much at all. Probably with the thinking and problem solving ability of a small child.
Essentually, pretty much unplayable as an adventuring character and unlikely to survive long.

Well I forgot to change the URL to my deviantart or original source. I originally named it as Assassin Dash because I don’t know a tag for it and thinking it was a reference to Assassin Creed. But after someone add “rainbow rogue” I change the name in My DA.

Thank you for your clarification, but I was merely going by the URL.
